we only get one match of YEC per day and it starts at 10:30 pm EST. i have to wake up at 5 anyways. they seriously want to kill tennis; if they showed 5 minutes of tennis for every single time they showed a re-run of the world poker championships (and poker isn't even a sport), I'd be happy :fiery:

Don't get all happy yet. Espn was also going to show us one or two hours of the Italian and German Opens at around 4:30 am on the Mondays after the tournaments. They just didn't. Just because it's on the schedule doesn't mean some chauvinist at Espn won't get interested in seeing a (fill in the blank) game. "Hey, let's put that on instead." "Great idea, Bob–let's do it."

The reality TV I'd like to see is video of the Espn programming team at work. Let's see them around the table, at lunch, at the strip club, etc. making decisions.

According to my calculations, ESPN will be showing 7 out of the 12 "first round" matches (same day live, next day tape)
It's a shame that a non-U.S. network (Eurosport) would outshine and outclass an American one. But, of course, we are talking about ESPN :tape:

ESPN has much better coverage of Houston than YEC this year, they just can't get enough of Roddick.

You do realize that 10:30 pm EST = 7:30 pm PST, which is when the matches will begin?

Hell yeah :yeah:

Lol....

Anyway, for those who are in the east and in bed by the time the late matches are shown, how about just taping it? I definetly wish some local network channel would show the event here in Cali, instead of ESPN. This event needs publicity. And the commercial....ha, I've seen in maybe two times in the last two months.

The matches start at 6:00 PST... which is 9:00 EST. I could see if the matches started at 1:00 EST, you'd have something to bitch about.

1. Mauresmo vs. Rubin
2. Capriati vs. Sugiyama (NB 19.30hrs)

ESPN BLOWS!!!!

Let's show the bowling champs again, or the fucking poker tourny, or the strongest man in the world contest BS..... This is the fucking YEC, and it is being held in America, would it be too much for the American Sports channel to show the whole tourny, esp. when they have mutliple channels to show it on..... AGHHHHHH!!!!
