My mother can be so embarrassing at times. Sometimes I feel like I'm the most mature one out of the two of us. Yesterday she went clubbing and came home at 4am. She fell through the door (when she finally managed to get it open after trying to put he wrong key in the door for about 2 minutes) then she threw up all in the bathroom  And then slept in until 2pm.

You poor poor thing...I've never said this about anyone before, but if you ever decide to go up a clock-tower and snipe at people at random, killing hundreds of inoccents, I'll forgive you :D

how old are you? i'm 18 and i'll tell you, it would be much better having a mum like that than one that nags you to do this and that about everything (from career choice to simply washing up a cup or a plate).

 your mum rules!

Exactly.

What's the problem, DiVa? Most of us probably have or had much more straightlaced parents, and envy you having a mum and dad who are happy to let their hair down (not that much hair in your dad's case ;) )and have fun. Count yourself lucky.

You should ask about some of the things your mum's generation got up to when they were teenagers. It would make some of today's rather prudish, money/fashion orientated youngsters blush.
Sadly I missed most of it because was too young!

Yeah she knows  She likes the attention. I think she's mad. It would be nice to maybe have a normal mother just for a day. but then I'd probably get bored... Life's never dull when she's around.

Nah. I've had both - a partying mom that developed in to a nag - and can tell you that they both have their ups and downs :p
