Luxembourg this week (obviously) and then Quebec next.

After Luxembourg, she has 3 more events she can play until her 17th birthday (in April). The Australian Open will not count as one of the 3 events.
I don't think she'll play Quebec next week...that would leave her only with the Australian Open and probably Indian Wells and Miami.

Until 17th birthday on April 19 2004, Maria has 3 tournaments left (Seat Open 2003 Luxemborg, Bell Challenge 2003 Quebec City and one more to be determined in 2004) plus the grand slam Aus Open 04. But however Maria was awarded a silver exempt wildcard which means she is allowed to play more tournaments with 7 silver exempt wildcards from January to November 2004. So she is more likely to play 3 or 4 additional tournaments before she turns 17 yrs old. That's like 13 or 14 non-grandslam tournaments plus 4 grand slam tournaments plus 4 non-WTATour exhibitions (WTT-July 03, Balitmore USA-Dec 03, Ciney BELIGUM Dec-03, and Hong Kong, CHINA Jan-04) on her 16th birthday. When she turns 17 yrs old and if her ranking climbs up to 16th right after US Open 2004, she will have unlimited tournaments to play because of automatic gold exempt status.
Hope it helps!

Tennisace, she has quoted that she will play in Quebec after she won the Japan Open title.
