That's gonna be Nastya's biggest win in her career so far!!! To win it in front of her homecrowd in her hometown...... What else can be better than it!!! :D

She really kicked Momo's ass here... a 6-2 6-4 victory!!! I am sure Nastya must be speechless right now.... Can't imagine how joyful she is right now!!! Winning two singles title in a row.... beating #1 Kim & #2 Justine last week to capture her very first Tier 2 singles title... and now.. winning the biggest Tier 1 singles title without dropping a set!!!

Nastya!! Well Done!!! You really have done extremely well in these 2 weeks!!! :D

Very good win for Nastya. Impressive performance. She's becoming a real killer on the tour.

Both players were nervous as cats in a dog pound, but Momo let iy affect her badly and made loads of errors.

Nastya on the other hand managed to keep ice-cool through most of the match, despite the pressure, and played her usual very intelligent tennis with lots of accurate pacy shots, and good variation.

Nastya could just creep into the Season finals.....

I think he meant that compared to Antwerp it's a small audience! For a tier II we had more than 12000 people ;)

The way she played, any top 50 player would have win. This is pitiful.
If I were in her shoes, I'd consider seriously retirement. It is just so annoying to play like that after hours and hours of training, during one match or two in a tournament. She is not consistent at all and I doubt she will ever be.

 lol..take a pill...if you applied lack of consistency=retirement to the entire tour..there wouldn't be a tour.I agree Amelie can be flighty and frustrating to watch but retirement at 24 would be ridiculous.

jlamire what a shame :( from a french
who are you poor little poster to say such a pitifully, silly, thing :fiery:
she did a poor match yesterday, that's right but she has already won nine tittles
who can have the same among french players ?

Oh la la, I was just angry, that's it. Don't take everything at face value. In fact each time I see a match where Amelie plays, she chokes...I mean that's really annoying! Next time I will just look at the result after the match ;)
IMHO it is a shame that she did not win more than 9 titles. Such a waste of talent.

that's ok  you have right to be angry but you will never be such as she is when she lose :p
and you don't see enough matchs, I have a big collection of splendid victories of her :lick: but I will not lend it to you
