Yeah, I just LOVED Lindsay's face.... Elena hits the ball just out, Lindsay returns it and looks back for a back. Elena hits a furious backhand in the court and it hits Lindsay in the back. She apologyses (sp) too fast, and Lindsay does not see her, so she makes a WTF?! face and then hits a ball to the wall. She wasn't too mad or anything, just mad enough to finish the match in that game and beat that bitch!!

I knew Lindsay would kick Alyona's ass.

Dementieva's serve is soooooo bad. I cant understand how a strong and a tall player like her can ser so slow and make a lot of DF. She doesnt have a good legs flexibility when she is serving, if she would improve it, she could hit higher in the ball, which would be more powerfull. Her toss also sucks, sometimes I dont know how she doesnt fault in the serve cuz the balls is so far away from her body.

Alyona has to improve her serve. In the last week, in the semi-final match against Henin, she didnt win the match cuz of her serve. Cuz she was hitting so powefull in the ball, doing some fantastic winners and got a lot of breaks. But when she was goin to serve, Justine could break her in love. It's a big problem witch messes her way of play. I know she can serve better, her coach should work it harder with her. It's a pity. With a little bit of work, she could become a Top 5 player.

She should take some lessons with Justine in how to make a good serve.

I just hope it wont make her in trouble in the US Open.

Anyway, it was a good week for her, now the #11 of the world, just behind Myskina, Hantuchova and Rubin. I think after the US Open, she will be ranked in the Top 10, maybe in the 7th or 8th position.

Hi RG I'm just hoping for a win tonight - Jenn is a tough and gritty competitor and the best opposition Amélie has lined up against since the French Open.
