Who knows, Elena is playing well and has beaten two opponents who i though no way she would beat. The win against Maruesmo (after THAT loss 6-0 6-0) could have done so much good for her. Who knows. I just dont want her wasting 7-5 4-2 40-0 leads again.

Elena had Justine on the ropes when they last played BUT did lose.

Justine still has the edge, she's a top 3 player for god's sake BUT

Elena always has a chance, especially on hardcourts, regardless of the last result.

She stated that she thinks Justine is a great player, but she has nothing to lose either. I think Elena is quietly confident, I just hope that translates into results!!!!

I just hope Elena is not too tired (she played a loooong 3 set doubles match last nite too!) and can come out firing and being aggressive.

Of course Justine is the favorite and she knows she can beat Elena in straight sets. But Elena is in good shape, has defeated 2 top 10's to reach into the semi-finals. I think she has her chances, but it will be so difficult. I just hope it will be different as it happened in San Diego.
