The transition from one surface to another isn't always as smooth as we should want it, wether it is a better surface or not.

Elke is in great form the last two weeks, but had a tough loss in a long three setter. There is a lot of wind the last two days, don't think she could cope with all that. Maybe that explains it a bit too.

Yes she did - she reached the semi's last year, and she is defending at least 4.75 points (could be 5.75 - not sure of the bonus points she got), so she needs to win to move up coz at the moment she has 5 points this year! (Unless Haring is in the top 500, and I don't thinkshe is).
