this is the worst draw i ever seen in my life of tennis!!!

a tier 1 event with all loosers in the qualies!!! I lost my time to come here. 5 hours of train to see that kind of junior stuff no way! can you imagine that for the first day of the qualies, i have no choice. I have to watch a tennis game with the result already known before the beginning. All matchs have a canadian player in so thats mean all victories for the opponent. i can t believe that!!! worst than ever in Toronto. even if it was only 5$ i lost 5$ today plus my hotel plus the travel.

i can t believe they made the choice to place so many canadians in a draw instead of giving place to real tennis players. sorry but i got to tell you that tennis canada sucks more than ever! like the wta whp accepted that draw with so many low player. this is a tennis tournament not a competition for canadians!!! if they deserve to be there ok but when you are like 500 you dont deserve to be in a draw of a tier 1.

i will try to have explanations on that. more to come because i will have nothing to do today except writing here!!!

if this is teh worst draw you saw in your life look at Scottsdale, or Stanford. They had about 4 first round matches instead of 16. At least you get lots of tennis to watch.

Where is Sammy? She was posted as the second seed in the Bronx challenger but she was taken off the entry list. I thought that meant she would be in the qualies here as the 5th or 6th seed. She said in an interview last week that she wanted to get as many matches in before the open...well if she doesn't play in the Bronx she won't get anymore. She is last on the next in qualy list for New Haven so I hope she is playin in the Bronx....if anyone knows what she's doin please post it. Thanks:)

seriously you must be the dumbest person alive...as if it was a big secret that qualifing for this event was this weekend...its not up to tennis canada to go around and tell everyone come enter our qualifing event this weekend...its up to the players to enter...tennis canada has no say in who enters this tournament besides the wc's they give out. You say these matches will be boring and predictable...well did you ever think that steff dubois could win her match coz she did...and so has 2 other canadians...all you do is bitch and complain...first it was marie eve not gettin a wc into the main draw coz she is french but she got one...now you think that tournaments can make there own qualifing draws and not let certain players enter...just stop your fuckin bitching already.

hey i totally agree qualifing this year is a joke...and thats an understatement at that...but im just fustrated at the fact that you think tennis canada has anything to do with it

The cut-off here is never higher than around 200-250

im frustrated because if players call the friday morning and tennis canada told them the cut off is around 103-104( even if they said 120 it is a too big difference) the player whop is ranked 126 will not come here! thats why the draw is full of canadians. but its getting better today but anyway...\maybe it is the second round of qualies but in reality this is the only round of qualies because yesterday it was like a pre-qualies... i just hope they will put m-e monday morning and watch me with his national flag, quebec flag!!! just in front of the tv! i wonder if tsn will show me:) i guess not:)
