Behind the Wall - Pretty Cheery huh?

Last night I heard the screaming
Loud voices behind the wall
Another sleepless night for me
It won't do no good to call
The police
Always come late
If they come at all

And when they arrive
They say they can't interfere
With domestic affairs
Between a man and his wife
And as they walk out the door
The tears well up in her eyes

Last night I heard the screaming
Then a silence that chilled my soul
I prayed that I was dreaming
When I saw the ambulance in the road

And the policeman said
"I'm here to keep the peace
Will the crowd disperse
I think we all clould use some sleep"

Lyrics to No Sleep:

No sleep
I haven't slept for a week
And I'm cold
Yeah, I'm so cold
She's right
I should do something with my life
But I'm old, I'm old, I'm getting old

Those eyes
She said they don't recognize me
Those lips
They're never calling my name

It feels so heavy
It feels so heavy, heavy
I'm waiting for a Saturday
I'm waiting for a Saturday
And I'm too young to be old

[in French]
Une fille jolie
Passait tout pres de moi
Elle arretait le temps
Au coin de St. Catherine et St. Laurent

Elle me regardait
Et elle souriat
Elle m'a fait penser a rien en ce moment
Mais comme le vent elle s'en allait
Et moi, j'suis reveiller
Ouai moi j'suis reveiller

chorus X 2

sleepy_head, you can download "Brother down" by Sam Roberts while you are at it. It should be on Kazaa. Well, "No sleep" is too. You decide which is more depressive...

You can also download Kathleen Edwards, the song is called "12 Bellevue". I'm really low on ideas right now... A prozac anthem, as I call it.
