Jon, I hope for your stomach's sake that you can now call yourself the proud owner of a new smurf glass, don't tell me you finished one of those big jars.

Ugh. It wasnt the small size jar :o Its not fair that you get a nice glass for a small jar, but nothing at all for polishing off a huge one! The nausea is subsiding now, thankfully ;)

Been there, done that. Except there was no spoon. Luckily I kicked the habit two years ago. It's so easy, when there's no other food in the house, to delay starvation one step at a time by eating one finger-dollop of the delicious brown stuff (no, not poo, you sick person). But of course one dollop is never quite enough...

Dollop is a much under-used word :)

I am very jealous. Unlike yourself I have been very nutella deprived. Cherish the moment!

Its this chocolate spread that people put in sandwiches (I never could understand that though, its off the spoon or nothing for me)...

But what IS it? Peanut butter? Frosting? A combo?

Chocolate on sandwiches?

That almost sounds like a good idea. But really, I just can't see it being one.

I remember when I polished off a whole jar of this Uncle Sam's Fudge (ooer)... massive one too...

Having said that, it was during the time when I was depressed...

I can understand the craving, I've been known to put a dent in cans of frosting in my day :D

But now that I'm an adult I know not to have anything in the house which I'll eat and regret :p

I ony meant to have one spoon, but started watching something and inadvertently ate it all. As soon as I realised I felt sick...strange stuff.

Did you know they put Nutella in Ferrero Rochers? ;)

JonBcn
Jul 18th, 2003, 11:41 PM
Yes! I always suck the Nutella out and spit the rest away :o

Ah, now if it were pickled onions I'd consider.

lol...my cover is blown. Do you like the way I've combed my hair over to disguise my bald spot, even though I am only six years old?

Barrie... Pickled eggs are a once only thing in my opinion... by all means have one, but not more than one in a night... once saw a bloke in a pub trawl through about 8 eggs and 8 pints... fool!

Love me pickled onions though... I doubt very much if you get them in any other country than here, but we have these things in some pubs that are two cream crackers, a cheese spread triangle, a wooden spatula and two pickled onions in a little pack.

When I'm doing too much Nutella on my sandwich means I'm in love, or I miss him very much :) So maybe that's the reason ;)

I can't believe it. It's been one of my ambitions for ages to eat a whole jar of Nutella, but I've never had the guts. JonBcn, I salute you! :worship: :worship: :worship:

It's odd, isn't it... you never feel sick UNTIL it's finished. I always end up eating marmalade out of the jar. Oh, and pesto sometimes.

Not chocolate in sandwiches, Hurley, chocolate on TOAST.

As far as i'm concerned i quit 'nutella eating' a few months ago. I started slowing down with the small jars first (can't find the big ones in the UK anyway) and finally stopped buying any jars!

Just thought eating that for dinner every night was becoming a bit unhealthy. And it's easy during summer i don't feel like eating nutella.

But i realise i have never eaten a whole big jar in one night. I usually need 2.

Yuck. I never understood why people would eat that all by itself. I like in on bread, but not by itself! That would make you feel sick!

I've just remembered, I once made myself a Nutella and tuna sandwich to eat. It wasn't that nice though - would have been better without the tuna.
