i am looking at the end of it now. honestly i want to puke. i resisted all of the insinuations before this that their relationship was a fake. honestly i did not care one way or the other. but watching these two "actors" over the past fifteen minutes, i'm sorry but i am totally unconvinced. Jen is loud and brassy. Ben seems nervous and tense. it just wasn't happening for me, sorry. i hope Gigli bombs. such lies should not be foisted on an unsuspecting public. :fiery:

I hope it bombs too just cause I don't like his sorry attitude. I believe whole heartily that he made her husband feel like an unwelcomed guess on the set and she let him do it. That's just low class.

and now all this stuff about her dropping her whole crew and then suing her manager over $100,000 dollars when she's worth over $100 million. Saying that's how much he stole over 10 years. Come one she's probably flushed more than that down the toilet.

There's a show? Why do people care so much about these two marginally talented people. We actually have to endure one of them in Winnipeg right now and its treated like the second coming.

It was a special NBC Dateline where they spent the whole hour talking to them. I turned but I was hoping a fan or hater, I don't care which, could clue me in to the hilights.

Most of these Hollywood unions are fakes aimed at putting their names out there. I mean look at this one. How much more famous are they after "going public" with their "romance?"

That Ashton Kutcher-Demi Moore thing is the same thing. All of these are career moves. I thought ya'll knew that.

Yeah but at least there are not a bizzillion pictures of them kissing like they are sooooo in love.

I totally see that as a hollywood pairing of people having fun. You see Bruce (Go head Bruce) doesn't let that 25 year old hang out with his kids in public without him being close by. :D

It's just over the top to me. Ben and Jen kissing in photos, ben taking jen's panties off in a video, ben and jen on the red carpet, ben and jen on entertainment tonight, ben and jen does a movie, ben loves jen movie special.

I am tired of this couple, and saw previews of this interview and turned it right away. Jen is one smart cookie though, she knows how to get ahead. She dropped her husband, then she went from Tommy Mottola(who gave her a record deal), to Puff daddy(who gave her street cred), to Chris(who was a smokescreen for the big picture), to Ben(someone who can give her name more star power).

Hmmmmm.... I wonder if we will ever see the ALLEGED porno video that she went to court over. Suge said he has the goods on jlo before she was this superstar. I guess Jenny aint from the block, but use to be on the block if ya know what I mean. LOL

I like Jennifer Lopez. There's something about her that's so special. She has the "it" factor - charisma. Get her away from Ben Affleck and the constant media barrage, and stretch out her career rather than pump it out at the speed of light and she'd be more likeable to the masses IMO.

Funny, my view of Patti LaBelle is that of a "vulgar Diva," on or off the stage.

Why do you say that? She is well known for cooking for everyone around her. She also has a cookbook out that spent many weeks on the New York Times bestseller list.

I'm curious as to why you refer to her as "vulgar"??

NOBODY is a "patty labelle" in the kitchen, that's for sure... lol. i once saw thing she did for mtv (least i think it was mtv) where she cooked and invited everyone to stay and eat after. i thought that was so cool.

I'm still in shock that J.Lo tried to perpetrate like she is Suzy homemaker with that hairdo and making of Beans and rice! :fiery:

Is this the same Patti that kicks and screams excessively when she's on stage? Also I saw her on Oprah once (cooking) and I thought she was much too wild and excitable --- maybe you prefer that word. I still think she's vulgar. :p

Maybe I have a problem with excitable/overly emotional people. I prefer mellow and laid back. :)

I take the word "Vulgar" to mean indecent or obscene. That's why I asked cause I don't think Patti is any of those things.

She's definitely a "down home" kind of person. Kicks and screams on stage?? I don't know I've seen her in concert, she takes her shoes off and is very theatrical yes but so are most of the best entertainers. :)

My dictionary says: coarse.

Get this, it also says of "vulgar:" of or characteristic of the common people.

Common people? Well, that's definitely not the word for Patti Labelle. Let's just agree that she is a Diva, as most of them are.

That's just what she doesn't have. She doesn't have even low-watt star power, she has no vestige of any talent whatsoever and she has no conception of what a celebrity can be other than a commercial brand. That's why she needs to spread her fat ass around so many fields, to keep her sheep-like fans (who are they, anyway? Who ARE these people who spend money on Jennifer Lopez product?) from realising that she can't really do any of them very well.

It is a sad indictment of popular culture nowadays that such a shallow, vapid couple are the closest we have to a modern-day Burton and Taylor.

there's that skit that steve harvey does on 'kings of comedy' where he says that the thing missing most in families today is the presence of 'big mama'. you know, the grandmother type who cooked for everyone and kept the family in order. patty labelle seems to have that quality. that hearth and home quality that most just don't have anymore.

That's what I like about Patti, she reminds me of my grandmother back south. You go to her house she would always have a meal. She was a great cook.

Anyways, I think Patti is not vulgar at all. Just a little ghetto fabulous.LOL

I like Patty, but one of her apperances turned me off a little. Did anyone see her on Emeril live? She was eating all the salmon. She kept stuffing her mouth saying, "Oh this is so good, sorry I'm hungry". Emeril said patty we have to save some for the guest, but she kept chucking that salmon. Then she was testing everything, licking her fingers(even though she was rinsing off her hand continuosly. Then the worst came when she started sneezing. She said it was too many strong seasonings. Patty was just doing too much.

I luv patti, but she had me on the floor laughing on Emeril. Her cookbook is good though, but don't eat too much of her macaroni and cheese. You will die of a heart attack if you eat too much. It's really good though.

That's how she acted on Oprah too, although this sounds much worse.
