Lets see how many Automatic entries we'll get into Kremlin Cup
21 Places for maindraw plus 3 WC and 4 qualifiers

Entry deadline will be just in early August.

All these should make it into maindraw for sure if they play (Tokyo Tier III is the other event)

Anastasia Myskina :yeah:
Vera Zvonareva :yeah:
Elena Dementieva :yeah:
Elena Bovina :yeah:
Nadia Petrova :yeah:
Svetlana Kuznetsova :yeah:

Lina Krasnoroutskaya :yeah: has 2-3 events to move up but should just about make maindraw.
last yrs top seed in qualies was #36 (Schett)

Tatiana Panova and Elena Likhovtseva have slipped down a little

Maria Sharapova i dont think will play but it would be great if she does.
Dinara Safina will need a WC to play and i'm certain she'll get one.
Anna Kournikova probably will get a WC (if she's fit and she better be fit soon)

come on girls ......... move up and lets get as many as we can into maindraw without WC's :bounce: :yeah: :yeah:

we may get 7-8 girls in without need of a WC

Enough contenders for the WC-Qual. Think Vera D. will get one. Anna T. isn't ruled out. Linetskaya won 25 K. St. Petersburg. Maybe Kirilenko and how about A. Kleybanova?

If Anna Kournikova can't defend her Stanford and San Diego points this summer, won't she be ranked around 200th in the world for the Kremlin Cup?

possibly (if she isn't fit soon) but that still wouldn't count her out for a WC
thats what i said.... Anna will only play there with a Wild-Card.

WC= Sharapova
Kournikova

I think for definate, as long as both are fit and healthy. But hey who knows, Douchevina could shoot up the rankings just as easilu as Masha has.
