Jan 27th, 2002, 03:06 PM
I was having a conversation the other day with a work colleague about what our favourite Grand Slam was to watch.

He said he enjoyed the Aussie Open, because of the atmosphere and I said I loved Wimbledon because of the history surrounding the championships and stuff like that.

So peeps What is your favourite Grand Slam to watch?

Roland Garros and Wimbledon. Love clay-court tennis, get to see and be involved with Wimbledon (also the whole history thing... I never thought that mattered until I actually went).

WIMBLEDON - seems to me a very special and classic Grand Slam, also seems like it is the one that most tennis players wanna win!

AUSTRALIAN OPEN - the one I can go every year as I live in Melbourne. Just a great atmosphere to enjoy during summer time!! Most importantly, the time when I can get close to my favourite players - e.g. where I've met my baby Jennifer Capriati the first time last year, and got 3 autographs from her this year!!!
