U.S. ski champ, Picabo Street misses in attempt to qualify for Olympic Super-G event.
I have had the honor of meeting this amazing champion who has gone through soooo much. It's insane how many horrific injuries she has overcome.
She finished 33rd in trying to qualify.
She is set to appear in Salt Lake however, for the downhill.

I read an article on Yahoo! that she's comtemplating retiring.... Tell me that's just the media and she's really not gonna retire after Salt Lake!

I wish I could tell you that! But as far as I know, she likely will retire after Salt Lake.
Lesser individuals would have retired long ago in her case.
But maybe you never know. She has an intense competitive fire.
