Petra played well, but Patty awfully, Petra said after the match at her quick phone-interweiv, that Schnyder said in the locker-room before the match how much she doesn't like to play on grass. 'Great attitude!' But very good job from Petra, gonna have a tough match against Iroda. vogus Jun 23rd, 2003, 08:56 PM Thanks Tommystar for that little report. What the heck is going on, I thought this site was closed?? Was that just an evil prank? c2 Jun 23rd, 2003, 10:38 PM OMG you're kidding.... grrrrrr Patty!! Will she ever start living up to her potential??? :( Dava Jun 23rd, 2003, 10:39 PM Patty!!!:-( tennisIlove09 Jun 24th, 2003, 01:06 AM Patty    Petra :D switz Jun 24th, 2003, 02:59 AM it's dissapointing, but to be honest i was not all that surprised. patty didn't play a grass-court lead up event and pretty much didn't seem to care about the match. although i think she could play well on grass with her swinging serve and decent volleys, i don't she her caring enough to ever go to far, so hopefully she can focus on the the two clay tournaments after wimbledon as she doesn't have many points to defend until zurich. she really needs to get a lot of points between nnow and then if she has any intention of staying in the top 20. i am really pissed off that she doesn't have a permanent coach. van harpen was good for her, and she needs him back. she needs some stability in her life with all the other crap going on around her. the years have really gradually diminished by vocalness on these harnecker/hoffman issues because it is just a continuous cycle of annoying controversy. now i just appreciate patty for her tennis and accept that one week in about every four she is likely to something exciting. | |
