As long as its not Julie I don't care

I say it'll be either Anne, Bally or Jane ;) The others have very little hope ;)
If Bally beats Dokic she can do well (but if it's a long match that she wins she'll lose in R2 6-1 6-2 ;)) Anne can get to R2, but probably no further (unless Hrozenska causes an upset :)) Jane could also get to R2 but probably no further. Julie could but won't get past R1 :fiery: And Lucie will not win

Well thats my opinion anyway ;)

Its either Anne or Elena, but I chose Anne, cos who knows with want the hell Jecca is gonna come up with these days!

Anne won't beat Srebotnik.

Jane could win her match, but I'd still feel more safe picking against her than for her.

Hurley, what would you say Bally's chances are of beating Jelena?

Jun 21st, 2003, 05:50 AM
I think you guys need to put another option - they all lose in the 1st round!

Bally has the easiest draw so I'll pick her.

Baltacha is the only one with a realistic chance to pass round 1

O Donoghue

Playing the number 11th seed will not be easy, no matter what sort of form Dokic is in at the moment! ;) Elena will need to be on top of her game to get to R2.

if Jane cant beat Marlene on grass she should just quit now.

I'm praying Lucie can somehow beat Ai, but even my eternal optimism about Luc cant see this happening. Shame, as Fislova or Cervanova isnt exactl a tough second round prospect.

Weingartner has always got to the 2nd round of Wimbledon, so it will be difficult for Jane :( ;)

Srebotnik has never advanced further than R1, lets hope it stasys the same for this year ;)

Wow! A lots are predicting Baltacha def. Dokic

Jun 21st, 2003, 04:21 PM
I think they'll all lose in the first round. Unfortunately for them they all got tough first rounds.

I hope Bally can beat Dokic, but I don't think she will, wonder what court they'll be on?...Lucie hasn't got a hope in hell v Ai, and I think it's safe to say Lina will send Julie packing (and if she doesn't she should be ashamed of herself).

Jane and Anne, on paper, could push their opponents on grass...but I'm predicting losses for them both.

If Dokic is still playing like a muppet, then Bally can win and hopefully, win a couple more.

Both of them will be inspired by playing at the scene of their greatest Grand Slam triumphs, so who knows? anything could happen!
