Venus is at home preparing for Wimbledon. If she's healthy she will be one of the top two contenders for that title.

What about Monica? Whats her new ranking going to be?

I believe someone said 18, but don't quote me.

To Da Forehand, even if Venus is a contender, don't forget she has to match her performance of last year to increase her points. Also, if you will take a stroll down memory lane, remember that Lindsay didn't play Wimbledon last year, so she will, as Rtael said, pass Venus very soon.

As for Jennifer, we all know she's going to win Wimbledon, so her rank will be back up soon. </prayer>

GO Lindsay!!!!!! she will even pass Justin after Wimby. Justin was in the semis last year to defend it, I think.

darn, this must be Ai's highest ranking in her career. She can make top ten if she does well at Wimby.

Unless Lindsay plays a grass warm-up event, she will have to do better than Venus at Wimbledon to pass her. And what are the odds for that? Not much ...

And after Wimbledon, Lindsay starts to defend points. Starting in Stanford.

Go Ai!!! Hope she makes the top 10!!!

Monica will/is #18. If she doesn't play WI, then expect her to fall to #26 or worse.

uhm no....
Venus has finalist points to defend...if she just makes the finals again then she will be almost exactly where her points are now...if Lindsay just mades QF or SF she will add alot of points as she is not defending ANYTHING here and pass her, simple as that.

Has anyone got the actual rankings, with the points and everything. How many does Lindsay need to pass Venus?

Also, does anyone know if Lindsay is playing Eastbourne. It doesn't say she has officially entered on the site, but she said she would play. But then got injured?????

How nice of you to mention only selected injuries. The reason Lindsay is close to Venus in the first place is because of Venus' stomach injury which caused her to miss tournaments and lose early in France.

It is not like Lindsay actually beat Venus...

By the way, I like Lindsay but unless she has been working to improve her footspeed she won't stay at #4 for long. Expect her to drop back to 5 or 6 soon... :p
