I mean, everyone thought Serena had a shot, but she already has 3 losses and the year is far from over. Do you think it could ever happen? Personally I think it can't, there's too much depth compared to for example when Navratilova had something like 80-1.

it wont happen, i mean serena is probably the best athlete the game has seen, not to mention the intimidation factor, if she cant do it, and others like graf,seles,hingis and navratilova cant do it when they have great years, no one can.

It is certainly possible. I'd give it about a 50-50 chance of someone doing it in the next 30 years or so.

It's already happened selesrules-just not in a LONG time.

In 1940 Alice Marble went undefeated at something like 41-0:)

I doubt it will be repeated soon.

Never accomplished in the open era Rollo ;)


Anyway....it'd be possible if Serena went and played the challenger circuit for a whole year....or just played all the Tier 4's and Tier 5's
