I've heard from a fellow Iva fan that she's pulled out of Wimbledon after losing to Laura Granville at the French Open with an injury. Does anyone know what the injury is?

I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but according to cvamko from the Iva Majoli Yahoo! Group, Iva strained a muscle in her leg, has a problem with her hip, and still won't be playing Wimbledon even though she and Iroda had some wins in the French Open doubles. :-(

Very sad, this won't help her ranking either as this is where her biggest points come from in her current ranking.

Iva is playing!!!! Unfortunately she drew Chanda Rubin in the 1st round.....I guess she has a chance, but I won't hold my breath. I would love to see her win this match, and get through a few rounds here....Best wishes Iva!!!

Unfortunately I think Iva will be lucky to get a few games at this rate...if you win 1 game against Fislova on clay, 3 against Granville on clay...what hope to you have against Chanda on grass? :o

I'd love to be more optimistic...
