I hope people don't see this as a negative post but I was wondering if anyone knows if anyone other than (the well publicised) Huber and Tauziat are retiring?

I have heard that Basuki & Farina may. Maybe Arendt, Vis, Oremans, boogart, Po, Tarabini,Habsudova McNeil Miyagi and Callens. Will Pierce and Martinez come back?

Conchita will play next year.

I'm not sure about the rest.

I'm only sure Huber will retire.. that will be such a big loss for the tennis fans... Nobody has a confirmation about Tauziat, 'cause sher said she would retire last year and she is still displaying some good tennis, we'll see

I sure hope Nana Miyagi doesn't.

She still has a few good years left in her if she's healthy.

I'm going to miss that big hair of hers as well as her doubles game...

Miriam Oremans will retire at the end of this year. She said so in an interview.

If Miriam retires, I'm pretty sure Kristie will retire as well. So sad.

I don't think Pato will retire, I'd know if she would be planning to do it, but maybe she want to do full time coaching with Pitu.

Pato: Patricia Tarabini
Pitu: Maria Emilia Salerni

Just for u to know, because Pato and Pitu are quite similar.

I don;t think Kristie Boogert will retire just because Miriam is going to... I mean why would she be bothering to play in the challengers now if she was going to retire at the end of the year anyway... seems kind of pointless to try and get her ranking up, and then retire anyway! She hasn't been playing doubles with Miriam lately either because she is playing the challengers, and Miriam has been playing the main tour...

Are you sure Farina Elia is retiring? She said so, but she could've changed her mind.

Anke Huber
Nathalie Tauziat
Miriam Oremans
Sarah Pitkowski-Malcor
Ruxandra Dragomir Ilie

Sarah Pitkowski??? How old is she? She hasn't the retirement-age! I hope she stays, I like her determination on court.

I read Farina wanna start a family, that's why she is retirng. She is 29, quite a good moment to get married and have sons/daughters

Do you think Miriam may re-think considering the recent drastic improvement in her results?
