this is Vera's third Tier I QF of the season. In Indian Wells she fell to jennifer 7-5 6-2, in charleston she was edged by Lindsay 7-6 6-3. Third time the charm against Justine?

well well well, who was it that was saying vera hasn't beaten a top 15 player and therefore hasn't shown herself as a top 10 prospect before the tournament. all those disbelievers have been told to scram by vera because in 2 consecutive matches she beat a top 10er and then a top 15er.

too bad for eleni...at least shes #14 now!!!
