has anybody noticed that patty's life has started to follow the script from that movie? patty is mary, patty's parents are ben stiller, rainer hoffman is the private detective hired by patty's parents to get her back, but then she ends up going out with him and he is a criminal (just like matt dillon in the movie). and rainer harnecker is her old boyfriend woogie. all the pieces fit. i just don't think there is going to be a happy ending like in the movie though

"There's something about Patty"? Ok sure! Why wouldn't there be a happy ending?

Can we make a film now?

because i think there are some major issues there which are just festering and this cycle of shitting men from her father to harnecker to hoffman indicates to me that this is more than a fews pieces of bad luck with men. i actually meant more in terms of the wasted potential in tennis terms

doesn't anyone find this interesting? maybe patty could sue the farrelly brothers for making a movie about her without her consent. or maybe patty likes the movie so much she is actually trying to live it out!
