Amélie only decided to enter the tournament in late March. (Please see post in the Amélie cheering thread! ;) ) I guess that she will have asked for a 'wildcard' - which is why they say she had not entered 'until now'! :D

Francuzka Amelie Mauresmo, sklasyfikowana w rankingu tenisistek na siódmej pozycji, wystąpi w turnieju WTA Tour - J&S Cup (z pulą nagród 700 tys. dol.), który w dniach 28 kwietnia - 4 maja zostanie rozegrany na kortach Warszawianki.

Mauresmo jest trzecią zawodniczką z pierwszej dziesiątki rankingu WTA i ósmą z czołowej dwudziestki, jaka przyjedzie do Warszawy.

Francuzka, znajdująca się na tzw. "Złotej Liście WTA", wcześniej nie była na liście zgłoszonych zawodniczek do turnieju, dlatego jej start możliwy jest dzięki "dzikiej karcie".

Drabinki Hamburga były podobne ze względu na Fed Cup . W zeszłym roku turniej w Hamburg miał cut off powyzej 250 wiec na razie jest super .

Zuluaga will play Fed Cup this weekend .
