I know that many of you don't care about Mariana, and you shouldn't, she's not such a big player, but it kinda makes me sad, 'cause she's a real fighter in the court.
She had a lot of injury problems last year and all she wants to do is play and earn money so she can travel.
So there's at least one person who wants you to get better, Mariana!

what is her injury? when was it suffered?

This is too bad. Especially the timing. Clay is by far the surface where Mariana is at her most dangerous. Missing this season will really hurt her.

hopefully she'll be ready for the FO ... if not then, hopefully by Palermo, where she is defending champion

She has some kind of foot injury, I saw her on the Davis Cup last weekend and she had a plaster on her leg, so I guess it's pretty serious.

Poor Mariana  awful luck that it happened just as the clay season started.

No, she was at Davis Cup. You know, Argentina's situation... economic problems... players have to make an extra effort and play every tournament they're able to.
