Justine broke up the contract with Le Coq Sportif and will announce her new sponsor soon :bounce: Maybe she'll replace Martina hingis by Adidas :bounce:

I'm glad! Le Coq Sportif was doing a horrible job with her outfits.

Surely whoever it is will be better than what she has now.

I think she will switch to Puma or Fila. Puma need more players then Serena and Myskina, and there are whispers of Serena going to Nike, so I think that would be a move they would want to make.

Oh no, please don't replace Martina by Justine, please Adidas.
My bet is Nike :)

How about Reebok? They don't have that many players yet, no?
My bet is Nike too

Please not Nike - the last thing we need is one more woman wearing the same damned kit. Juju's outfits may have been dull, but at least she was about the only person being dull in them.

Reebok might be a decent fit.

Although I didn't like that her outfits were often the same and the top part wasn't very nice, it surely made her different than the rest. Except for Bartoli, she is the only one who is sponsored by le Coq.
We'll just have to wait and see how she will look with the next sponsor.

Maybe she'll go with Puma!! It'd be great to see Juju in a little catsuit action!! ;)

I think she would also look good in Reebok, but please...not Nike! Don't want to see Justine in the same old Dri-fit mesh thing everyone else is wearing!

Well, perhaps if you had written in standard English, you would have gotten a better response. :p

I speak German, and since Dutch is nothing more than German with a very bad accent, I think I can come up with a reasonably good translation. (:p to all the Dutch posters) Fleemke is more than welcome to correct my errors:

New clothes sponsor for Justine (10 April 2003)

Justine Henin and her clothing sponsor, le coq sportif, have split. The tennis player will make her new sponsor known soon.

Vincent Stavaux, Justine's manager, revealed the news on Thursday.

"Both parties reached an agreement about their marketing strategies and how Le Coq Sportif would redefine their marketing image" [or some such mumbo-jumbo -- I don't know the reason for the break-up, but Stavaux's statement comes across to me as nothing more than a bunch of PR], read the official release from Stavaux.

The contract between Henin-Hardenne, world #4, and Le Coq Sportif, which was originally supposed to run through 2004, was undone [there's a technical term to use here that I can't remember] on April 3. The tennis player will present her new sponsor soon.

Justine is still looking for a new sponsor according to her site .. so maybe it isn't decided yet. She will be playing in simple 'white clothes' this week

There's that one fashion designer who likes to have a lot of fun with her designs (and thinks she's still a teenager :)). The one that does the cartwheels at her shows. Betsy Johnson?? She had a line of tennis clothes back in the 70's. Perhaps Justine could wear those. One outfit had a white dress with red trim, and matching white knickers with a heart on the back. That would be an interesting look. :)

Perhaps Justine's on a mission to wear every single brand at one point. Who's left? Reebok, Puma, Yonex, Fila, Lotto, Kaeppa, Prince, Mo Magick (Drake's line), Stinger Bee (worn by Mattek), MarWei (Weingärtner's own line) or perhaps Herman Geist could resurrect the old MN line.

i don't think she would use a wilson racquet and wear yonnex clothing. she'll go back to adidas i think. i don't see her fitting the puma image; fila would struggle to come up with the cash with all the other players they've got; she would look awful in that nike mesh stuff because she has body. yes i would bet on reebok or adidas

Except for the fact that Myskina looks awful in that horrible recycled Anna outfit. Plus, I think the orange outfit is the worst one Serena has ever had from Puma.

The Wilson outfit is really nice. That yoke at the top sets off Justine's shoulders very nicely. I hope for Diadora or Elisse or something just a bit different than the others. :)

Oh. phooey. I didn't see the second page before I posted.

It does look like it's going to be Adidas. I hope they come up with some good colors for her, because she doesn't really look good in pale washed out colors. White is better for her than pastels.
