The list of top players commited to the Family Circle Cup tournament is HUGE, it'll be a very interesting tournament. Will Serena FINALLY loose her winning streak, my answer is: If she wants to win the tournament, she will. But the chances for someone else to win are bigger, since we all know it's clay.

But my real wuestion is, can Kournikova finally win a title? ;) LOL, just kidding, who do you think will make a great run or get where. Please introduce your four semifinalists, and both finalist and winner.

Must I say probably (and some of my desire):

Serena Williams
Jennifer Capriati
Justine Henin-Hardenne
Lindsay Davenport

Final:
Justine Henin-Hardenne def. Serena Williams

I have faith in Justine, if she plays her best tennis, she can definetely win the tourney. Anyway, I'd like Lindsay to win of course, but hse hasn't played in clay for a couple of years now, so it'll be hard for her...

Although I am rooting for Serena to continue her perfect record in 2003, I have never been one to discount Jennifer. She won here a couple of years ago, so it's possible.

I think Serena will win this because she wants to go through all of 2003 without a loss. In the event that she doesn't I think Justine, Lindsay and Jennifer all pack a shout.

Probably be Serena vs. Henin in the final, but I could end up being wrong.

I suppose one of the better times to beat the top players is the change of surface... if you're prepared & in form, who knows?

i hope monica will put to rest any lingering suspicions of where her career is headed, and i think that this event will be between monica, serena, jenn, and justine. thats one hell of a semifinal round! of course, it would be even better if it was a monica vs serena or a monica vs jenn final... ahhh, can't wait.

Who knows?

Daniela is due for a good tournament after three, errmm, indifferent ones.

It depends on the Draw
Monica is better than all of them at 75% on clay
(with the exeption of Serena, but thats a given)
so if she stays away from Miss Williams
Serena vs. Seles final
if not Serena vs. Justine final
or Monica vs. Justine final
depending again on the draw

I vote for Justine Henin-Hardenne. She had a magnificent year last year on this surface and since she didn't play Charleston last year, she would need to do well here this year in the event that she doesn't do well on any of the other events she made finals or won.

Final:
Hardenne d. Williams

Semi
Hardenne d. Seles
Williams d. Capriati

I would LOVE to see Seles/Henin-Hardenne showdown at a clay final! That would be so sweet, but that all depends on Monica's seeding. That would be a great match!

I think clay is where Serena will not realize her dream of an undefeated year.
