Clay is very hard to predict because there are so many "clay specialists"
I think we will see some surprises during the clay. I don't think Serena will go into the French Open undefeated, but I can't say to who or where she'll lose.
Still, Serena/Venus/Kim/Justine/Jennifer/Davenport/Mauresmo [in that order] have the best chances

Davenport hasnt won a clay title in 4 years
she hasnt played on clay in 3 years

I say Serena will win all her touneis she enters, b/c she has shown even a lil off, she is still unbeatable in the end. Much better fighter than last year, if she does end up in a tough match, i have more reason than ever to believe she will still be the victor. she has added more insurance points, that she will go undefetaed already this year :)
Well well looks like somebody underestimated Justine.

Wow, it looks like a lot of people are writing off Amelie Mauresmo! She has a great chance if she's healthy. She's never played Venus or Serena on clay and is planning her schedule very smartly in that she's not playing too much. I think she has a good chance to win at least one event and she will be a big threat at Roland Garros.

I'll say this much: I don't see anyone besides Venus, Serena, Capriati, Seles, Kim, Justine or Amelie winning any of these titles. And of them, Monica is not fit and coming off injury.

i think most of the top 10 besides myskina and rubin have a chance at winning one of these tournaments if they play well. monica also has a chance if she plays well.
i think the 2 darkhorses are dokic and davenport. dokic is good enough if she plays well and most players at the moment probably expect her to fal short but she might surprise some of them. and davenport has played quite well.
but i think serena, venus, kim and justine are the four that have the best chance.
