Mar 28th, 2003, 04:09 AM
Maggie and Liezel seem to have done a great job to get back in the 2nd set......I hope the rain doesn't ruin their chance at a fantastic result.
BTW, I must admit I don't know too much about Liezel but it's a name I've seen around for some time now. Can anyone tell me who she would normally play doubles with and some of her notable results. She has a good doubles ranking.
Did she used to play with Nicole Arendt?
Thanks in advance.

Rtael, that was quick and I thank you!
Having seen those results, I now remember her playing with Martina - from memory, was Martina's first partner when she came out of retirement?
Do you know what's happened to Nicole?

Come On Kim And Ai!! Win That Match!!
Mar 28th, 2003, 04:01 PM
I think Kim and Ai have pulled out, the Doubles Draw and Live Scores now show Huber and Maleeva as winners. Perhaps Kim pulled out due to fatigue.
Mar 28th, 2003, 04:05 PM
Wow... Liezel has been semifinalist in doubles since year 2000! unique tradition...
can she go further this year?
do Kim and Ai really withdraw??
Mar 28th, 2003, 04:12 PM
Yep, Kim and Ai did withdraw... Yesterday during doubles, Kim wasn't feeling well....
