I think they do not do their jobs well. if you see the match statistics for other courts than Central Stadium. u will see that lots of players do not have winners and only few unforced errors. It could not be true, but on the other hand for central court alone, players have tons of winners and tons of UE... what do you think???

It's because on the other courts they aren't really counting the winners and the UE from the match. That few winners and UE that you see are from the aces and the double faults. They are only making the complete statistics in the Stadium, in the Grandstand and in the court 1.

AnnaK, you're correct in your observation. In fact that's the way it is at the slams, the 2 main courts and maybe a 3rd court are the only ones equipped to tabulate all the match stats. What the folks at Nasdaq are doing is really STUPID. It is better to show NO STATICTICS than it is to show partial stats that lead to eroneous conclusions. At the very least they should put some disclaimer on the web-site to this effect.

Well, they shouldn't show NO stats. What they should do is show Aces and Double Faults, but leave the UE and Winner categories off the scoresheet.

Sometimes people count all errors as unforced errors, so maybe that accounts for the lack or over amount of them.
