why do i compare 'em?
well, both of 'em started their "career"
when they reached SF of a Slam.......
Clarisa for French and Alexander for Wimbies of course,
Alexander ended that yr in TOP 50,
her ranking never took off and dropped quite
hard after the Wimbledon the next yr......
but 2 yrs later.........she is TOP 20.......

will Clarisa's career have a similar story as Alexanders?

Clarissa has a talent, but I think it was just luck that got her through, sure Clijster and Dementieva were good wins but Clijsters wasnt Clijsters, and Elena when given a huge chance like that basically will fall to pieces.

what do you mean with title?

a normal title or a grand slam

I think the first is always possible but the second I think not

Surprise, surprise Clarisa's favourite surface isn't clay but grass, so who knows what can she do there???

I think she has got the talent, but she's more than likley going to drop after the French anyway!

I think she's a top 50 player definitely, but not top 20.

She has talent, but I just don't think she has enough weapons to break into the top 20.

Stevenson's just as good indoors though, and that's where a lot more points can be earned, so I don't think Fernandez will get as high.

i don't think she'll fall. she might fall after RG but she'll pick it up again and let's face it, she doesn't bomb out of tournaments first round like Stevenson does. and i don't think she has an erratic serve like Stevenson where she always manages to have twice as many df than aces
