any final, let alone a tier 1 final, should not be played at 10 a.m

I understand that they have 4 matches and everything. Maybe next year they should go back to womens final on Saturday.

Then they could do a doubles final at like 10 a.m. and the mens final not before like 1 p.m. on sunday but whatever ;)

Anyone else have the misfortune of living in Philly and not having coverage of tennis due to the Saint Patrick's parade. :fiery: :fiery:

I don't live in Philly but it was pre-empted for me cause of the ACC Tournament Championships. Which normally I would be happy about since my alma matta is in the final but they are showing it on two channels ABC should show tennis so I can watch both.

I, too, am getting the ACC tournament. The French Open is always pre-empted here because of that Jerry Lewis telethon.

The sad part for me is that I usually have two different abc channels but one is not coming in today for some weird reason. :fiery:

Its not fair, for once I wish ESPN had the coverage. Why does ABC have the coverage if all their affiliates aren't going to show it.

sperosgeorgejr - Well, we get some telethon that always interrupts the French Open (in 1994 it pre-empted the finals, but in recent years it has pre-empted the first weekend). Does it matter which telethon it actually is?
