Avril Lavinge has performed Sk8r Boi with 21 drummers

Other highlights of the show included Justin Timberlake and Kylie Minogue performing a raunchy dance routine, to a medley of his hits Cry Me A River and Blondie' Rapture

Can't believe Ms Dynamite beat Beverley Knight and Alison Moyet. Typical that the flavour of the month is awarded above solid talent.

I hate Ms Dynamite. I wanted Beverely Knight to get Best Urban Act and Sophie EV to get UK female.

I think Ms Dynamite is over-rated. And good that The Streets won nothing. Can't stand him.

If people would like to know what sort of rubbish gets acknowledged in this country, look at the list of winners from this years Brits. Pathetic. And even those who have talent don't win anything, although I was shocked that Liberty X won Best UK Single over Gareth Gates x2, Will Young (what a mess the UK music industry is in if these 2 get nominated) & Atomic Kitten.

Shirley I'm sorry I'm totally American. (never even left the country before :o ) I don't follow music outside of the US so I don't know these ppl unless they have a hit here like Robbie Williams did a few years back. Thanks to Joy I know who Miss Dynamite is. :o

Glad Liberty X and Sugababes won!

Norah Jones:eek: Shakira should have won that award!

I also think Ms Dynamite is overated.I bet anything she'll not do that well now!

Beverly Knight rocks!

Big brovaz is probably classed as hip hop the lads rap and the girls sing.their first single Nu Flow was great!

:bounce: YAY For Norah Jones!!! :bounce:

I'm generally happy with the results.. Except for Best British Male. Robbie Williams hardly did anything all year (except get an £80m record deal) His album wasn't even elegible for the awards! Surely someone else should have got the award?

And erm.. Are the Sugababes dance now?!

Blue make pop music and are not bad for a boy band imo. I think they are the best boy band around for the moment, but as all the other boy bands *cough*westlife*cough*one true voice*cough* suck, that doesn't say much :)

Sugababes also make pop music, but with r 'n' b influences (they did a good cover of 'Freak Like Me' a while ago).

And finally Big Brovaz... what can I say? I love them! Their first single 'Nu Flow' is just awesome (try downloading it, it's really good) and their new single 'OK' is also very good.

Of course this is all my personal opinion, but if you like r 'n' b, I think you will like Sugababes and Big Brovaz.

And I personally found the TV show boooooring!! I don't wish to sound unpleasant but I didn't like Davina McCall's outfit at all!! (And I think she looks v. good presenting Big Brother) My poor Mum sat through the two hours to see Tom Jones - imagine how she felt when there were the "technical problems" just before he appeared... ;)

What was going on with that man making the mobile 'phone conversation while Davina was doing one of her links? Was that staged? I'm sorry, I think my attention was "elsewhere" then... :o ;)

sugarbabes are NOT considered dance by the majority of people in the UK. Just look at the other nominees in that category:

Groove Armada, Chemical Brothers, Jamaroquai, Kosheen,

I have NO IDEA why the SB were nominated and the fact that they won

Franziska, bless your ever lovin', Will Young-appreciating heart!:wavey: .(...and Shirley, don't you dare start... ;) )

And those of you who haven't heard Will sing live have no idea just how powerful, subtle, and smooth his voice can be! A well-deserved winner, in my opinion:)

But, hey, it's an AWARDS show! Like fashion, it's not meant to be taken that seriously. And reports of the demise of the UK music industry have been tiresomely exaggerated elsewhere...In any event, congrats to all the winners and nominees:D

Have you heard his album, Franziska? (I mean excluding the few dreary ballads he was contractually obliged to sing on winning Pop Idol...) It's still a bit too mid-tempo, but shows off his voice fairly well.

Of course, he's a soul/jazz singer at heart, and is apparently working on his second album now with that emphasis in mind...

Go Will!

No, I haven't heard his album... I'll have to ask my little cousin!! She loves him, and has all the Will merchandise - when I last saw her (this was just before Christmas) she had a T-shirt with a big BIG Will picture on it!! I think you'd have liked it too... ;)

Again, I don't care for the music he has to make (but I think he has more "input" than Mr Gates) but he HAS got this soulful voice and he seems like a very down to earth, nice guy!! I think he'll be around at the Brits 2023... ;) I wouldn't be surprised!! ;)

Okay...

GO WILL!! :D

They were simply awful, they cannot sing, a touch of the Avril Lavigne's (who is great recorded) but not so great live
