I think i may have spelt her name wrong, but I was wondering how she is doing?
I read this old interview in ACE! magazine with Elena D and she said that in the juniors, there were 4 players who used to get to the semis:
The other three are all pretty well known; where is Ekaterina and will she reach their level?

I saw her play just once- doubles at the Kremlin Cup last year with Koulikovskaya (I think) and she wasn't too impressive. Very often a player who was very good in juniors is not as good in the pro tour, she could have had an injury or just stopped improving, I don't know but from what I saw she didn't look like someone who is to have a breakthrough anytime soon :( It'll be good if she proves me wrong

Sorry, I haven't noiced that thread first..
I saw her many times playing doubles with Zhenya. At USO. She even had some support group, consisting of few model-like looking girls. And she herself looks quite like a model. Very tall and slender.
She wasn't very successfull in singles though..

i think she has got to quarter-final in palermo a tier 5 wta event in 2002 and then lost to zvonareva 6-0 6-4.
i haven't seen her play in person. she is ranked around the 200 mark.
