It has been revealed that Frenchie, a few years ago in an effort to raise money to go to college, posed topless for a website. Unfortunately, that website claimed that its models were underage. Even though countless reality contestants have done far more than this, American Idol has given her the boot. To complain, send email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Frenchie was one of the favourites to win.

I'm sorry, but the American Idol is supposed to be a kind of role model. It comes with the territory of the title. Posing nude is NOT the way to be a role model and 19 Entertainment knows this, thus she got the boot.
There are plenty of other ways to get money to go to college, posing nude for a website must be the EASIEST way to get money, so don't act like the poor girl was just struggling for money so much that she had to pose nude. Please, the girl wanted easy pay and she got it by taking off her shirt. AND, I wont buy for a second that she didn't know the website advertised as "underaged girls" and if she didn't, that is her very own fault for not checking into where these pictures of her were going to go. I think it would be the very first thing any person with sense would do, check where and how these pictures will be used.

Why not? It shows she is not prudish ot politically correct. Good for her, that's fine as a role-model for people in an increasingly anti-sex society...
...except that she was silly enough to get involved with a site that caters for borderline pedophiles. For that reason alone, I will not be protesting this time. It means that this is not a clear-cut case.

i dont understand what the big deal is.
with all the porn americans buy, you think we would just fess up to the fact that we're perverts. so she poses nude for money for college. i know LOTS of girls that strip or pose nude for college money. college tuition is ridiculous nowadays. she did nothing wrong and theres no reason for her to be kicked off.
american idol is shitty tv anyway. just like the rest of those programs out there... mind-numbing garbage.
