All of you can keep dreaming. If Kim can't beat Venus' sister from 1-5 down in the third set, how do you think she can beat Venus?

Venus lost the last 4 or 5 matches against serena!:o Kim is better than Venus, she proved it already!:o

I think Kim can definatly win :D (and she's got home crowd advantage :))

I wouldn't say that Kim is better than Venus however. The last time they played a real match was in San Diego where it was 6-4 in the third (for Venus), so I think it will definatly be interesting.

Go Kimmie! :bounce:

how can she prove it when she hasnt played venus this year yet...shes only got one true win over vee...

you cant judge 2 players by how they played against the same opponent otherwise you can say since kim did beat venus and jen always beats kim then jen can is better than vee...you cant even say that because jen never won against vee...

Yes, Venus is 5-6 against Serena all time, and what is Kim??

Hmmmm...

Besides Venus owns a 3-1 record against Kim, and if you add the retirement, that was not a high competitive match, due to the injury, since the start.

:p

Venus in a two set win. 7:5 7:6 over Kim or Justine, either one is fine. :D

I didn't realize Kim was ever 1-5 down in that match. Now, I know she had a 5-1 lead, plus two match points in the third, but, like I said, unless I missed something, she was never down 1-5.

As far as this poll is concerned, my head is telling me that Venus will win, but since it is the only major event in their home country, it would be great to see a Belgian champion. I know everyone talks about Kim (and for good reason), but if you look at her record, Justine has what I would consider an extremely good reputation in her home country. She's won several national and Challenger titles in Belgium, plus her first tournament win was there, and she played a close match against Venus last year in Antwerp. My point? Although it's a faster surface, and everyone will be talking about Kim and Venus, don't be surprised if (notice I say if) Justine manages to sneak through.
