Hey Kristof & the other Justine-fans :wavey:

I'm Bram, I'm 18 & I've been a fan of Justine's since 1999. I used to surf to Sofie (Justinator)'s website, which was the only Justine Henin website back then if I'm right, everyday to check out her results :) Kim is my top fave, but she's my 2nd fave. I've got posters of both of them on my bedroom wall ;)

I already graduated (master in the audiovisual arts = filmschool and E-communication) I'm playing tennis myself, ok I'm trying, and love soccer. To dance is also one of my passions (modern). I'll go and see as much tennis as possible and this year I hope to visit Paris, Antwerp (I'm working there :D), Rosmalen and Roland Garros. In january I'm planning to be in Australia  traveling ans photography are also passions of me. I was a big fan of Van Roost and Graff and started to support Justine whan she started as a pro :D Didn't know she won RG because I was totaly crazy back then when Filip played semi's there.

My other favo's are Tommy Haas, Olivier Rochus, Rainer Schuetller, ... platers who are technicall as well, not only power.

Hello Hello

My name is Wim, so not a girl as many thought :p I'm 21, but soon 22, the 2nd of March ;) . From the age of 12 I did have major Migraine-attacks and suffered a lot with that...I quitted school in 6th Grade...(grrrr what a disillusion) because of that disease... (Human Sciences Modern Languages) Nowadays I'm a fanatic Justine and Kim fan, but it all started @ the AO of 1997 when Dominique and Sabine reached the quarters. From that moment I lived so what for tennis  Big disappointment was when Dominique announced her retirement, but Justine and Kim filled up that gap pretty fast...AND HOW
I support off course all the other Belgians (WTA, ATP, challengers, Juniors...wherever) and Davenport, Matevzic, Barabanschikova and Kournikova are my non-Belgian faves...

Hi everyone!

My name is Alison, and I am 17 years old! I am a huge Justine fan! To be honest, I wasn't even a fan of tennis until I saw Justine playing Jennifer Capriati in the semis of Wimbledon 2001. She is the reason I am a huge tennis fan today! I saw her game and was totally blown away. She amazes me! I myself I am not a very good tennis player sadly to say. I've taken lessons and played many times with my friends...but the hand-eye coordination just isn't there. ;) I do have a blast, though, when I play and that's all that matters, right? :D

I'm Catherine and I'm 19 years old, 20 next week. I live and study in Ghent.

I have always loved tennis but I watched matches superfically before Roland Garros. I already liked JuJu before, but my dumb mind then told me to go with the Flemish Kim. Also at RG, I cheered upon Kim because everybody expected JuJu to win. But in the final of RG, I already saw that Kimmie wasn't going to be my style of player. From Wimby 2002 I followed JuJu more and more. And started to like her more and more while I started liking Kim less and less. And then during and after the US Open, well ... I became a complete JuJu fan. I just love her style, game, and attitude. When I see her, I hear her say "Allez", "Je m'en fous" or "For sure" and then I'm completely in JuJu-heaven. And when I read an article in the newspaper that breaks JuJu up and angel-ifies Kimmie, I become as mad as hell and my boyfriend has to calm me down ;) But these outbursts occured become less frequently the last months.

I am also glad I found the JuJu-highway ;)

And yeah, I forgot to mention my hobbies: I like playing tennis from times to times (if I have the time), climbing, reading myths and shopping!! And I also hunt moles on sundays ;) It's Sandra!

My other faves are Venus Williams, Amelie Mauresmo, Elena Bovina, Marat Safin and Paradorn Srichaphan. I like Els, Xavier & Kim too, but I only cheer upon them when they do not play against one of my favs.

Hi people!

I am a 23 year old Belgian Justine-fan. I live in Brussels, I am from the Flemish part of the country though (birthplace = hasselt). I studied at the university of brussels, graduated in 2002...

I started watching tennis when I was about 14, I was a huge fan of Pete Sampras (ok, I admit I had a little crush on him, was I really the only one who thought of him as being sexy as hell??). I first heard of Justine when she won RG and started to follow her bit by bit... Since about three years she is my absolute favourite, no doubt about it. She such a wonderful person to support, because sometimes she looks like she really needs our support. do you know what I mean? she doesn't have so much confidence, which makes me love her even more. I love her whole personality... It was funny, last year in antwerp I got her autograph and I was sooooooooo happy, happy as a child. Me the 22-year old asking an autograph from a girl who's 3 years younger than myself...
I started playing tennis myself about half a year ago and I am starting to get the hang of it... finally

Hi my name is Cathy, i'm a 26 year old visual basic programmer.
I have watched and played tennis since i was about 7. I don't play often anymore as i don't have the time. I was a massive fan of Steffi Graf. After she retired my tennis watching died down a bit since none of the new players interested me. I still watched a bit of the slams though as i do love the game. Then in 2001 i saw Justine play her semi against Capriati and i marked her as one to keep an eye on, fast forward to Australian Open 2002 and Justine hooked me in for good. I have been a big fan ever since. I was lucky enough to watch her play live at the Adidas this year, and even say a few words to her as she was giving me an autograph. In Australia besides from Januray and the slams we don't get much teenis coverage. I live and survive because of these messageboards and fan websites. So i really have to say thank you to all of you.

Hey I am Chris, Im 14 years old and Justine is my fav along with Mary Pierce. I have been a fan of Justine since 2000, when I first saw her playing Anna Kournikova in the 3rd round of the US Open. Anyway, Im still young and I attend a boarding school here in the states. I saw Justine in real life for the first time this past summer at New Haven but I didnt get her autograph. I watched her practice for an hour and she was awesome but I had to go before Justine was done. The only match I saw Justine pla in real life was against Myskina at New Haven and it was really painful watching her lose. I hope to see her win the next time i see her.
On the men's side, my favorite players are Juan Carlos Ferrero and Goran Ivanisevic.

O yea, Im also a wannabe Belgian :o:p

Glad to hear I am not the only 22-year old having that feeling... :-)

She was indeed very friendly. I hope I can watch her play this year, last year I was only able to see her training. I have tickets for all Quarters, so that should do it, I hope....

Hi, I'm a juju fan too, and new to this board:)

I have to say I'm an equally big fan of Kim, but since I sometimes have the feeling that Juju isn't always getting the attention that she deserves (or at least less than Kim), I favour her ever so slightly ;) Typical belgian I suppose: always sympathy for the underdog:D

Anyway, I'm pretty old to be hanging round on a message board (32  ) but for a tennis fan, this board is heaven: now I'm always updated pretty fast and that's important, since I'm accessing internet only from work :o

I live in Ghent in Belgium and I am working as an IT-specialist (I'm a programmer).

I'm Willy, 18 years old and started to love justine since Amelie Island 2002, maybe a junior fans 4 Justine and 4 Tennis World because I started to follow tennis since that tournament. I want to let her (Justine) know that she has a big huge fans from Indonesia :wavey:. I wish in 2003 she'll found a beautifull answer to Venus, Serena, and all the players in this world especially KIM Clijsters, because i think Juju has the high ability and quality, but she must grow up her confidence and doesn't choke in all match she plays. I think it's hard 4 us (people in Indonesia) to follow the tennis because it's lack of TV coverage and lack attention 4 tennis here. But it gets better and better, our new TV station called TV7 indonesia started to pay more attention to tennis since they showed the 2002 wimbledon live (complete match) and a highlights 4 2002 USOpen and 2003 AusOpen (they showed the final match LIVE in both mens and womens finals.) I know my english is bad, but i wish u get what i mean ;) ;) ;)
:bounce: :bounce::bounce: GOOD LUCK JUSTINE in 2003 !!!! :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

I'm Fiona, I'm 24 years old (25 next month) and I live in Wales!! I've liked Justine since I saw her play Lindsay Davenport at Roland Garros 1999... She has a lovely game to watch and I always like to see her do well!! My two favourite players (Justine and Eleni Daniilidou) have "dream" one handed backhands... :) (My favourite shot? ;))

Willy, your English is fine - I wish that I could speak another language so well :o

I'm Nele Fraeye, from Belgium. I'm almost 24 years old. I like Justine when she came to the 4th round of the US open 2000 after a lot of injuries. She's my greatest fan. I follow all her matches. I would like to go to some tournaments, but only made it to the Fed Cup.
I like sports too, I play volleybal competition, and tennis during the summer. I also have all the articles from the belgian players and all tennisarticles that appear in newspapers and magazines. I also have lots of posters in my room about Juju and Guga. That are my most favourite players.

I'm graduated as a qualified child care worker. Still looking for a permanent job.
Greetings
Nele

P.S. Justine will become NUMERO UNO one day!
Good luck!
