1993 was a promising debut year for her. She faced some interesting names including Jing-Qian Yi, and Tamarine Tanasugarn. ;)

She also seemed to have a rivalry with Yeon-Sook Kim and Ju-Yeon Choi...

Wow,... great thread. :D

Thanks for this thread, danker. :wavey:

It's quite fascinating results from Mi-ra,.. especially against Tamarine. And it's 10 years ago.
That's why I think she's one of the unlucky girls in WTA history. After Mi-ra's early developing in this early age,.. she had a contract with a company,... then they took a whole control over Mi-ra,... only one novice young coach for her,... no hitting partners or team-mates.
They didn't change anything until Mi-ra got sick of silly training regime and dull management. :(

Finally they dumped Mi-ra after several years,.... and she had to retire. Anyway that brought her another opportunity,... cause that was the only way to change her management from the scary contract. And she could change her team after miserable events, finally. :D

Wow,.. it took ten years she finally gets on her track, again. Wow,... from 1993 to 2003. You did a great job, Mi-ra. Hope you have best luck in your career from now on.

Go, Mi-ra~~~

Hi, danker :wavey:

Thanks for the 1994 results. I wonder why she played only 8 tournaments that year,.. maybe age restriction?

If you permit me to post these results on Mi-ra fan site,.. I would do that for Mi-ra and her fan's reference.
:D

Eric, 1994 was the year in which Mi-Ra had exceptional Junior results, so it's obvious her main focus was Juniors that year.

There were no age eligibility rules at the time.

Sure, you can post these results on Mi-Ra's site. :)
