Nevertheless, it's disappointing...

Maiko
What a waste of talent, after being Top 10 in juniors...

C'mon Maika! :D
This girl is very good, but has hardly any experience overseas. This is a really good learning experience against Callens...

Wynne hopes to focus on singles? well a straight sets thrashing by Schnyder and an easy loss to Taylor is not going to see her move high up the rankings at all. yeah..... skip the australian warm up tourneys....great idea! - now everyone has found thier game again and you havent!

BTW, Kazakztan is part of the Asian Tennis Federation. That makes 6, unless you take into account only East Asia ;) .

But I have the feeling that Wynne intends to focus (in singles ;) ) on the US season. Last year, she ran out of gas at that moment  .

I would have prefered though that she starts her season a bit earlier and skips on of the two Middle East events :( to take a break.

As for me, it is expected to see few Asians got through...Those who advanced were certainly had bigger chances...For Wynne, I have been worried since she arrived in Japan just one day before the match and after tough matches she had in mixed doubles at AO...Physically, I assumed she was not good at all...So her decision has proven wrong so far... I am afraid at the end, it will end up to have only Cho to be in MD...:( She is the most potential one indeed...Akiko is second...but with small percentage...So much for Asians!
