Congrats Serena. This is a nice match for you. You need to establish some doubt in Kim's mind and this match accomplished this.

yes everyday is a new day, serena said she will pick up her game in the later rounds, she did, kim's game dropped, now serena's game is up, kim is going to have to pick her game up from the last round, and then she will have to ry and raise it again, cuz that is what serena did today!

Good win Serena.

Meghann played below par though. She was getting 80% first serves in her last match. This match 54%

That quarterfinal wasn't a tennis match, it was a tennis clinic! Serena was practically flawless, I say practically b/c what was up with that really ugly dropshot attempt? Even her mom was like girl what's the deelio with that? But if she plays like that against Kim, she'll beat Kim like she stole something!

Clijsters is good, but if Serena brings her "A" game, It could be a short night!

Go Serena!

With all due respect to Clijsters, I don't think she has much of a chance against Serena. She'll be lucky to win 8 games in the match.

But I think the Venus-Justine match will go to three sets, with Venus prevailing.

justine vs. venus will only be 2 easy sets for venus. justine just doesn't have it, and you don't know what game venus is going to bring. at wimbledon (the last tyme they played) venus was say 80% there, and still won it straight sets, like Navratilova and Carillo said in that match, this wasn't even close to venus' best, but it was good enough to beat a quality opponet like henin in straight sets. and the stats werent bad for both of them, anways, venus will win in 2 sets, but depending on how she is playing, it will either be 2 normal sets, or 2 quick and easy sets!

wow, look at the percentage points won for serena on SECOND serve! honestly, that is quite amazing! its almost as high as Meghann's winning percentage on her first serve!

great run of tennis for Meghann. I'm glad to see she was coming into net and trying to stay aggressive out there. hope she has a good year.

Serena was totally dominant and plain and simply outclassed Meghann.

I really like Meghann but to me she just totally lets herself down on her groundies - I find it hard to watch her play. Her forehand grip is so extreme that she can never hit a hard shot when stretched wide and if teh ball is hit hard to her cannot recover, which in today's game is just not going to cut it. I think if she had a semi-western she would be a 50% better player.
