Under the deal, NBC would pay Warner Bros up to $7m (£4.5m) an episode- roughly triple the $2m it currently pays per episode. By comparison, NBC was reportedly paying $13m per episode for the medical drama ER during the show’s peak. Officials at both Warner Bros and NBC declined to comment.
