The ECB have just stated in a press conference that England will go ahead and play their world-cup game in Zimbabwe. Their statement was implicitly critical of the government's willingness to "sit on the fence" on this subject. Mr Lamb pointed out that many British companies still have bases in Zimbabwe, BA still makes flights there, and no real sanctions have been imposed against them.

Cricket is a game, so why punish Zimbabwean fans.. That's Mugabe who should be punished.. But, I guess, it is already to late. Zimbabwe is another Democratic Republic of Congo in the making..:(

I agree with you, but the British government is ignoring the real issues. Cancelling the cricket match would be just a empty gesture.

I would have said Holland and Namibia but with Harmison in the side we will lose after and over of their innings after setting them 300+ targets just because of his wides alone.
Something is wrong with the selection policy. He can'tr even get in his counties one day team!
