One set all, then Molik retired hurt - apparently with a strained ankle.

Yeah her right ankle is the problem. Most likely some ligament damage that will keep her out for 4-6 weeks, not too bad, should hopefully be ok for Doha/Dubai.

I wonder what this means for the doubles. If Molik and Tulyganova were going to play doubles together, then Tulyganova will be without a partner. Might we see Tuly with Stubbsy?

OZ media did compare her to Anna.

Tuly will play just mixed doubles along with Buthapi ....today lucky her shoulder was better than last week, but Lindsay will be a very tough opponent.

Well Dawn Marie if you believe in karma I guess you should expect some of the bad variety to swipe you around the face sometime soon. The inference from your comment was uncalled for and rather spiteful.

You may perhaps want to separate the media from the player. At no time did Alicia say she was better than Anna or that she was prettier. She has not control over what the media said just as Anna doesn't.
