Desperately seeking live score board...where is it? I can't believe Australia...It is in the quiet capital of Kangaroo land...if it is in Wagga Wagga, then it is understandable not to have live score...

Stewart never gets through...:(

Bartoli...great win!:)

Meilen...whazzapening?

Flavia...I know ur capacity to advance...Cool!

Yes Im native finn. And indoors is where we have to play about 8 months / year. And my racket is some "non brand" from cheeper end. Dont play that much so dont need quality tools either :o

And it is rather easy to stay warm. Just putting more clothes on.
And we are expecting that -16 or even little warmer for tomorrow. Feels like summer after this :D

Btw we have at least one thing in common. Both countries have one good tennis player. Angie is on court. Jarkko just got out of there, victorious. :bounce:

Here, it is 2.37 PM...we have 3 time zones in Indonesia...Jakarta is Western Indonesia time...Nice to know u, Korben...ur name sounds Danish...I guess, you have similar names in all Scandinavian nations...Today, in local TV here - in the nationally famous show...they have question about your country's history...What a coincidence!:) :D :wavey:

Thats just nickname I use (loaned from movie 5th element).... and finn names are unique. None similar anywhere (but estonia). As is our language. Um.. finnish badminton isnt very famous but it is your national sport... Suzi Suwandi (hope I got her name right) won first ever olympic gold for you. And yes sauna..beer. Thats us  "Lapin Kulta" is pretty famous beer, I guess. Made in Lapland. Is that our history question your "who wants to be millionares" - million dollar question (I know you use rupiah but million of them doesnt sound that big amount) ?

Most people only know Hakkinen, sauna and our drinking habbits. Some might know that Nokia is Finnish instead of Japanese. (sounds like japanese, have to agree) But thats about that...

And your not that much ahead of us. 10am in here so that makes... 5 hours. Im trying to move myself to Australian time because live coverages from AO start 1am our time. So getting to bed as soon as I get those five remaining results.

That Irodas match is really long... Should have ended about same time as Clarisa-Silvija match. Might see that Angies result appear before that....

Lapland? If I am not mistaken, they say that Santa Claus is from there...have u been there? What is it like? It is okay not spell right the name of our legend badminton player...actually it is Susy Susanti...She is happily married with Alan Budi Kusuma - who won gold medal for men's single in 1992 Barcelona Olympic...After Susy left the arena and Mia Audina's departure to be Holland citizen...Indonesian women's badminton is in bad slump! Just like Germany in tennis after no Steffi and Anke...Now, we export many badminton players to various nations like Sweden, UK, USA, Taiwan, Australia, Japan, Brunei, Hong Kong, Switzerland, Germany...

I forget...all in my family, we use NOKIA cell-phone...the most selling brand in Indonesia!!! How did u know we have "who wants to be a millionaire" show? Actually, this morning is not this one but it is called, "WHO IS BRAVE?" show...Brave in this case to bet higher points to win! Your country is famous also for its forestry...I think, our government has learned from you and we have sent experts to study there...Is "Electrolux" made in Finland? I am not sure...it is washing machine brand...Do u play ice hockey? I used to watch the games when I was in USA,,,Thanks!:) :D :wavey:

Do u have much snow this time? Here, it is wet season now and much rain!:wavey:

Wow...wow...what a sweet revenge by Angie...She lost badly vs Daja when they were junior...It is time for Angie to beat top 20 again like when she did knock down Anna Pistolesi in Wimbledon!

What a coincidence...both Clarisa and Angie won 63 63 today and they are dbl partners! I guess, Lindsay sent her energy to Angie with same scores Lindsay had yesterday...Angie likes Lindsay's style...

I wish u well against Emilie...and then if u win, u will face either Saori or Adriana...If it is Saori, it will be rematch of Asian Games last year...In Busan, at that time, Angie won! Keep up ur good work...Does anyone have any reports on how Angie and Daja have played today? I mean details...por favor! Gracias...:) :D :wavey: :bounce:  :wavey: :bounce:

And yes Santa Claus is from there. :bounce:

Umm... most countries have their own "millionaire" show. Natural to think that you have it too. And yes there is lots of forest here and thousands of lakes. ..Electrolux is swedish brand.... and nope dont play ice hockey but watch it every time I can. I consider Iroda way a better player than Meghann, so i think this is a more interesting win, being played on hard being also 1st Conchita's match win on md hard....

Some people even though she would lose in her 1st Q match... so isn't this her best? ...

Sure anabel, a 3 sets win over an injured player outside the top 50 in the first round of a Tier V tournament is better than a straight sets victory over the 12th seed in the first round of a Grand Slam.

How could I be sooooo blind? Yes, just because it's hardcourt it's a better win. I'm sure you will forgive me...

anabel
Jan 6th, 2003, 10:57 AM
She is injured? Why does she play then? Maybe she is not at her 100 % and has some problems, but an injured player can't play a 3 setter match like that.

Anyway, maybe Roland's win is more importat at a tennis nivel, better tournament, more wta points, a higher ranked player, more money...

But as i said, i think she was playing against a better player than in Roland Garros, in a surface where Conchita is terribly bad and Iroda is good. Meghann is not that good on clay while Conchita only wins on it.

A 1st win on hard over a player like Iroda, deserves for me that credit, cause it's just unbelieveble.

And yes, you are a bit blind, cause you said she would lose in her 1st qualy match, and look where she got :):)

You always read bad, maybe that's your main problem. I never said she is not good, i said she is not that good on clay, cause her best surface are faster courts, where she has greater results.

So she's not that good on clay? Beating Henin & Coetzer in Hamburg 2001???

Oh wait, now I understand everything lol, next week in Berlin she beat a certain Marta Marrero 6/0, 3/0 *cough*

I know it's hard to bear anabel, just try your best honey...

Ok you are just idiot, i dont know why you take evry chance you have to attack Marta, when then you cheer for her in other thread, just very contradictory.

For the third time, i didnt say she was not good on clay, you just understand what you want to understand but not what i said. Meghann is better on hard than clay, that's all. If Conchita would have beaten Meghann on hard, we would have not this discussion now, but Conchita was playing in her fave surface and Meghann was not. Iroda was playing in her best surface and Conchita was not. That's the deal my dear.

Anabel sweetheart, did I attack Marta or lied about anything
If so, let me know

I think the one who's got a problem is you being week after week frustrated because your fave's (Marta & Mariajo) poor results.

Please get a life, no need to insult ;)

Yes you insulted her, there was not any need to bring up that result in the conversation we were having, because it didnt add anything new to this, and this is not the first time you do things like that about Marta, but of course you just do it to make me bad.

Maybe my faves get bad results, my problem is that i cheer for them not for their results, just for the way they play and their personality, maybe you only follow players for their results, well that's not me.

Anyway, thanks god my faves players are active, even if they lose i have something to cheer for. Too bad your fave player retired, maybe that's why you dont have better things to do than insult Marta & Mariajo, welll it's you who must get a life, honey.

Arantxa is a fave of mine just as Marta or Mariajo...

I don't think I've insulted them just because I posted that they have had poor results lately. You better grow up anabel or will have a tough season...AGAIN
