Why did this match happen so early? (it is still Sunday in Oz, isn't it?) Well anyway, congrats to Arantxa and also to Tommy for a great comeback -- he obviously is not taking this lightly. Spain has never won this (I think they've only competed here three times, though) and I would surely like to see them win this year -- it would mean an awful lot! I expect Arantxa will do her usual "verbal" coaching job with Tommy during the mixed dubs, which is always entertaining!
They've only won once, in the second edition... that's it, until now! Arantxa and Tommy will win this edition too!!!

Bad luck Argentina All the very best in the coming matches tho...glad to see Paola looking as beautiful as ever!
Unfortunately I missed her match but got home in time to see the mixed, and they played quite well as a team and won the first set, I pretty much figured they had the match won so I went to bed but unfortunately Spain came back and won the mixed 4-6 7-5 10-5. Spain win 3-0
Good win for Spain, but disappointing Argentina couldnt win a rubber. Oh well.
Vamos Paola! Good luck for the next two matches!

Hi just read the official site
Apparently Arantxa was only broken once and that her strong serving produced like 5 aces!!!!
Whoo hoo, is this something arantxa has been working on??
Hopefully (touchwood) this is a good start for 2002 for Arantxa!
Kepp playing well (I think they could get to the final!!!)
