Kid was very lucky to wear that coat. Just an insane video.

I don't know if the person who posted the video realized that the kid was just moments from being eaten alive.

A closer look at what was coming at the kid:

This is why I always keep my dog inside when I see a big bird.

I don't think it's fake but luckily the kid is too heavy for the eagle at the end and managed to lose it before it flies higher enough which could hurt the kid more.

Not to mention the wrong texturing and animation of the eagle: the only large eagle that shows a conspicuous white trailing edge on the extrado is the Imperial Eagle, an old world species lol, and the wingbeats limited to above body level on lifting only occurs in seabirds.

I watched the explanation earlier but I still don't see how it proves its CGI I'm not very video savvy though.

It has been confirmed that it was indeed a really well done school project.

These birds are know to snatch cats and dogs in some regions.

It's theoretically possible though. Some years back in Norway, a golden eagle snatched a small bear cub and carried it off.

It was a HOAX.

It was done as an animation project by students in Montreal.

They were obviously successful, say some movie pros in Hollywood.
