Not to mention the wrong texturing and animation of the eagle: the only large eagle that shows a conspicuous white trailing edge on the extrado is the Imperial Eagle, an old world species lol, and the wingbeats limited to above body level on lifting only occurs in seabirds.

I watched the explanation earlier but I still don't see how it proves its CGI I'm not very video savvy though.

It has been confirmed that it was indeed a really well done school project.
These birds are know to snatch cats and dogs in some regions.

It's theoretically possible though. Some years back in Norway, a golden eagle snatched a small bear cub and carried it off.

It was a HOAX.
It was done as an animation project by students in Montreal.
They were obviously successful, say some movie pros in Hollywood.
