Great field. Really, it deserves to be. Charleston is a charming city and it seems they always treat their players really well.

Wozniaki - has played and won here
Petrova-has played and won here
Cibilkova- good resultson green clay, maybe a finalist before?
Vinci- maybe in Mexico....would have thought a green lcay court would really suit her game, and Sara is here...maybe focusing on Poland and then Fed Cup?
Cornet- Did well on gren clay (maybe it was Amelia)
Wozniak- Thought she was coming back in Miami? Says she loves clay.....plays here usually
Arvidsson- Maybe Mexico...thought she also played Charlie..not having a great year, maybe having a week or 2 off?

Yes, list is the same. In my list Johansson was last in as per last weeks rankings. This week Pervak is ranked below Johansson and they just updated the rankings; players are still the same and nobody has withdrawn yet :)

Entry list for MD is done 6 weeks before the tournament starts. Back then Cadantu was still top 100 as she still had her points for Monterrey final last year (Monterrey was held same time as Dubai in 2012).

Entry list for Q is done 4 weeks before the tournament starts. In that list Cadantu is shown as #17 as Monterrey points were taken off during that 2 week span. She still got in MD in Charleston ahead of lots of players as ALTs to MD are taken into acccount from the original MD list, not the Q list.

Lucie has struggled with lingering back injury since Australia. Went home to do MRI and heal properly.
She's wont return before Fed Cup against Italy.
