TV chef Art Ginsburg, better known as "Mr. Food", dies at 81 (http://www.seattlepi.com/entertainment/television/article/TV-chef-Art-Ginsburg-Mr-Food-dies-at-81-4057039.php)

He started off at one station in Schenectady, NY, which was a local station for me, back in the mid-1970s. I don't know when he finally left New York to do his segments out of Florida, but I remember in 1989 going up to Schenectady when our high school was on the stations Quiz Bowl-type program. The two tables for the teams were along two of the walls, with Mr. Food's kitchen studio being in the same room along a third wall where the cameras wouldn't be filming our show. Even though I'd been in TV studios before, I still found it a bit disconcerting.

I can't find the code for inserting a Youtube video, so here's a link to Mr. Food teaching us how to make Bite-Sized Chocolate Cheesecake (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F-JH589aHOs). As Mr. Food would have said, "Ooh, it's so good!"
