Serena: "I was really, really trying out there." :haha:

Both enjoyed themselves. I loved the point where they were both at the net and Aga tried so hard to not hit Serena; it was a floater and Aga tried to lob it over her head :spit:

I was dying laughing at this! Yeah, right! You tried to tank if anything, LMAO. Very enjoyable and funny match, Serena was painfully obvious with her tanking at the start but then produced some nice shots, Aga as well and it looked like they were swapping, something like: OK now I win, and then you win, LOL

Well .... according to the TF Tennis Expert NashaMasha :tape: Aga was trying/playing her best tennis out there :rolls:

What I find strange is that in Live Commentary 99% of the posters in there knew that Serena and Aga were not giving 100% and were just having fun ... except the one poster NashaMasha. How strange is that? :oh:

I'm wondering why

Beautiful play from Aga.

My top tennis-related hope is that Agnieszka Radwanska wins a major. I'm also hoping that she'll take the no. 1 ranking next year, and I think she'll have a good shot at that.

Sounds like a fun match. Would have liked to have seen it. Obviously being an exhibition I would read nothing into the result, just as I would never read anything into the result of any exhibition match. But it does sound like this was a pretty entertaining match and considering the skills of the two players involved that would hardly be surprising.

Indeed. I think most of Aga's fans see this as bit of fun and don't take the result that seriously at all. Had this been, say, Sharapova beating Serena in an exhibition match I believe one would have seen a substantially more over the top reaction.

This. Aga is a very nice girl and extremely talented. Her fans thinks that she can win grand slam one day, maybe even next year (i'm one of them) but this match was just a lot of fun and Serena probably will beat Aga in straights if they will meet early next year. Of course with Aga still improving her game , she can do this match-up much tougher for Rena and I really believe she will eventually. Really looking forward to see will Aga bring her game to another level in 2013 :lick:

I just watched the last set won by Aga 6-4 needlesstosay Serena wasn't at her best in fact I think she couldn't wait to get off the court but the two had fun with some humorous moments, Serena tried a drop-shot which Aga sent over Serena's head but she managed to get it back for a winner so they both laughed at that one. Certainly the men's match which followed was more entertaining..Roddick against the Canadian Milos R., Andy was chatting throughout the whole match with the spectators in the front row, then he did impressions of Milos, Nole, Nadal, John McEnroe, and he took two towels and stuck them in the back of his shorts, then proceeded to walk toward the umpire with a ball in his hand mouthing the words, "I'm going to stuff this ball right down your....well, you know the rest. This exhibition match was for charity so we thank the guys and gals for their contribution to this worthy cause.:worship::worship:

You simply cannot smile all the time. And it all depends on personality. The players who are usually smiling to their fans when signing are Del Potro, Novak, Ana, David Ferrer, Karolina, Rafael. Simon even poses with fans for photos. I remember Del Potro practicing once when a kid shouted through security asking Delpo to come, and he came to the kid with a big smile. Very friendly to the fans are also American players: Roddick, Querrey, the Brians, Christina.
Also Marion and Angelique are very friendly. They even chat with fans when signing.
The coldest players I knew was Petra and Maria Sharapova. They were both like ice and the appeared to be annoyed by having to sign. Aga was not too friendly either when I was asking her for a signature in Polish, but I forgive her. :)

Because a match isn't supercompetitive doesn't mean you don't get some very enjoyable tennis. When the pressure is off players are much more able to go for flashy shots for example. Some won't come off but those that do can be great entertainment. Tennis played in a relaxed spirit with a bit of humour by two players with a lot of skill is very watchable. If you have ever seem a match with Herni Leconte and/or Mansour Bahrami you would understand.

Yeah, I forgot to include that one, yes, he did do a pretty good job...not all tennis players have "quirks" :rolleyes:so you have to imitate the ones that do...Maria is easily imitated with her walk to the back and hair fixing the same with Nadal lugging at his pants and hair fixing as well....Nole does a hundred bounces before he serves and lots of derisive smirks along the way...Serena too is an easy copy...not so much for her style of play but what she did "off court" makes her a target for those ugly moments.:lol:
