Title is pretty self explanatory. ;) Might include my own list a little bit later. These are players that have either shot up the rankings quickly and are on the way up, or players that have comeback this year and are on the right track again. :D

Ula Radwanska was ranked 105 in the beginning of the year, now is 31. She achieved this year her best ranking in the career - 29. Her previous record was 62 in 2009.

She did it all by lucky draws/injuries or simply bad form of opponents. She has no business being in this thread.

My list:

Watson, Robson, Hsieh, Lepchenko, Errani, A.Radwanska, Cornet, Cirstea, Barthel, Stephens, Giorgi, Bernets (sp?),

Rankingwise it is definetily a big improvement. But she has been up there before I don't know if she got that much better gamewise, she just lacked matches and confidence.

Hm, so Kerber improved much more than Aga?
Is that why she beat Aga in 2011 and lost twice 2012? Crazy thinking.
On my list: Radwanskas, Robson. Petrova, Hsieh, Errani, Kerber, Vinci, Watson, Ormaechea
