Okay, this question came across my mind today and I was wondering if anyone knows the answer to this. What female player has won the most sets at love in history?

I'm sure Seles won a lot of 6-0 6-0 matches, didn't she?

My hunch is Evert.

In the Open era, almost certainly it would be Chris Evert. I'd actually be shocked if it was anyone else. Steffi Graf probably number 2.

Probably Suzanne Lenglen or Helen Wills.

For the open era that would be my guess as well.

Martina Navratilova has 317 so she is ahead of Graf

It's really fascinating, if unsurprising, to see Chris, Nav, Graf, and Seles at the top here. For starters, Chris and Nav had an era of complete dominance. All of these players achieve their bagel sets so differently. Chris and Seles are similar in that they are ruthless competitors who won't surrender an inch. Navratilova and Graf have such ballistic offensive games that when they were on, were untouchable.

There's a stunning clip of Evert double bagelling Martina. Martina was laughing between points because she tried EVERYTHING. Chris could have hit times on the court that day.

can someone find Martinez's 6-0 stats? I think she had quite a lot (but far from the bests , of course ;) )

By 2014 she'll probably have a lot more (if she stays in form).

Serena tends to have at least 1 off game a set so gives away a game

I knew she had a lot, but not so many:drool:

I remember almost every clay court season in the 90's she would fly through the draw up until the quarters and semis often leaving a trail of 6-0 6-0 destruction behind her especially in the early rounds.
